Diynamic’s Solomun and US deep house veteran Cajmere are just some of the electronic names hitting this year’s Coachella festival.
Running across two weekends (the second repeating the first) – April 11-13 and April 18-20 – in the Empire Polo Field, Indio, California, Coachella promises the usual high-impact mix of contemporary music (electronic and hip-hop through to rock and indie) and visual art (including installation and sculpture). Artists joining Solomun and Cajmere include Duke Dumont, Nina Kraviz, Art Department, Disclosure, Bicep, DARKSIDE, Guy Gerber, Tiga, Dixon, Lee Burridge, Maceo Plex, Scuba, Fatboy Slim, Laurent Garnier and The Martinez Brothers.
Elsewhere, there are spots confirmed for Skrillex, Beck, Ellie Goulding, Little Dragon, Duck Sauce, The Knife, Chromeo, Pharrell Williams, Pet Shop Boys, Holy Ghost! and kings of leftfield Bonobo. Friday headliners (for both weekends) are OutKast; both Saturdays welcome Muse and Queens Of The Stone Age as top draw. Location and full line-up details at www.coachella.com . The event is already fully sold-out.
