Could this be the last dance for Basement Jaxx?
Felix Buxton of the veteran dance duo has suggested that after the next Jaxx album, the future is uncertain.
Speaking to Data Transmission, he said: 'Our record deal is up after the next album and I'm not sure what we'll do. If you are in a pop band you can go on and be a grown-up band but dance music is different.
'We want people to be into what we do, we feed off the audience response.'
Scars, which Buxton describes as 'all over the place', is due out in September, and features collaborations with Santagold, Lightspeed Champion, Sam Sparro, Paloma Faith and, erm, Yoko Ono.
To get a sneak preview of the new material, you can check them at Creamfields on August 30.
