Defected Celebrates London: Live From Tower Bridge

Defected Celebrates London: Live From Tower Bridge

published on 24.05.18

London's skyline witnessed a Defected takeover, with CamelPhat & Sam Divine playing 45min sets at the opposite ends of Tower Bridge, 200ft+ over the Thames, last night. Watch the live stream back on YouTube, here:

The Tower Bridge streams close off a day of celebrations which saw CamelPhat sign the contract for their new track on Defected. You can hear 'Dopamine Machine' featuring Ali Love, the much-anticipated follow-up to their Grammy Award and Ivor Novello nominated 'Cola' with Elderbrook, exclusively in CamelPhat's live set from the bridge.

Pulling out all the stops to make this a next-level broadcast using state-of-the-art filming and streaming equipment, this Defected branded helicopter has been drafted in to cover all the angles of Tower Bridge and beyond. If you're in the capital - check the sky above and you might see us.

Earlier in the day, CamelPhat & Elderbrook were presented with a plaque for 1m sales for 'Cola' as well as Platinum sales in three countries and Gold in five. The plaque was presented by Sam Divine at another famous city landmark, the London Eye.

Marking a proud moment for Sam as she celebrates being with the label for ten years, bringing together two of Defected's finest was a very special occasion in more ways than one.

Make sure you check out the live streams and help us congratulate CamelPhat, Elderbrook and Sam Divine on their incredible achievements for the house music community. Join us in celebrating London, our base for almost 20 years. We might be a label with global roots but this will always be our home. We'll see you on the dancefloor somewhere around the world this summer and in the words of Simon Dunmore himself, "The music sounds better with VIEW!"
