This July, some of the world’s greatest singers will take to the stage for the Defected In The House Live weekend at two world-famous London venues. Supported by the all-star Defected live band and backed up by some of the biggest name DJs on the house scene, this unique weekend looks set to take the capital by storm, delivering quality house music in truly unique way.
You can tell that an event is going to be special when the artists themselves start getting excited about performing there. We caught up with a few of them to get their feelings on the biggest weekend of music in Defected’s history.
"I'm excited that I’m included in such an innovative and dynamic event. Defected is the largest dance label in the world so it's no surprise that they are right in the middle of such a spectacular event as this. Dance music is universal and dancing brings happiness whether it's from dancing in front of your bathroom mirror or dancing at a club. I've always loved dance music. I've recorded all kinds of music but my favourites are always the dance songs because they energize me. From 'Young Hearts Run Free' to 'You Got the Love' to my new collaboration with Rasmus Faber & Alf Tumble called 'Wilder Side', I intend to dance and have fun on the stage and I hope that everyone else there dances and has a lot of fun too."

"Dance Music has been a part of the UK's culture for a long time now and let's face it we have been doing it longer and harder than most. It's had it's up and downs and it's detractors who just don't get it, but the simple fact remains we’re still here and were still packing out venues every weekend.
"So when we were asked to take part in this year’s Defected In The House event we were more than happy to dive in head first! We have already planned a great show with some big surprises thrown into the mix and the whole weekend looks set to be a pure festival of everything that is unique and brilliant about House music."
