Senior Graphic Designer
Defected Records are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to lead our creative team.
An opportunity to work closely with a creative consultant and alongside two existing designers as well as the wider marketing team. Together you will produce a broad range of work to cover Defected’s internal and external brand communications. This includes digital & physical music releases, tour artwork & event pro-duction assets, merchandise, social media content and much more.
-Create release artwork for all singles, albums and streaming products
-Print artwork for all physical releases, CD, Vinyl & Cassette
-Event artwork for DJ shows, club tours, Ibiza seasons and festivals around the world
-Design a wide range of branded apparel and accessories for the Defected store
-Play a key role in pitching new ideas and concepts for brand wide campaigns
-Produce a comprehensive range of marketing assets to support all of the above
-Engaging content for social media channels to build our following
-Manage and maintain design elements of multiple label websites
-Produce internal communication documents – brand presentations, business to business campaigns etc
-Manage your own time as well as assist other members of the team in doing so across multiple projects.
-Work closely with Production Manager to ensure all deadlines are met across full release schedule
-General creative assistance across the business wherever required
-Act as a brand ambassador for Defected and follow our vision within the industry
-Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) essential
-Any experience in animation, motion graphics, HTML/CSS a strong advantage
-Ability to work with our Brand Guidelines and help develop them where necessary
-Work to specific briefs alongside remaining flexible in your output
-Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team
-Have a positive attitude, and work well under pressure
-Ability to react quickly and efficiently to last minute briefs on tight deadlines
-Manage a range of projects, and your own time, effectively
-Display a strong attention to detail alongside personal organisation
-Have a strong passion for music and an active interest in our scene
The role is full time, and based in our East London office.
You will get 25 days holiday per annum, plus your birthday off work.
You’ll have guestlist access to attend our events & festivals as well as regular socials with the team.
