South African producer Native Tribe and South London vocalist TTAN come together to release empowered Afro house cut 'Ancestor's Calling' for Sef Kombo and Louie Dunmore's Sondela imprint. Coming from the township of Tembisa, Native Tribe's career has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of years, as the self-taught producer has cultivated his emotive and authentic sound for imprints like MoBlack Records and Oscar P's Open Bar Music. Now collaborating with relative newcomer TTAN, her impactful, rhythmic verse makes a perfect narration for his deeply atmospheric, exquisitely produced backdrop. The package also features two remixes, the first from prolific Durban producer Enoo Napa, whose Rituals Mix demonstrates his signature raw Afro, electronic infused sound. Pioneering east African producer, Kenya's Saint Evo, also provides a remix on the package, characterised with cinematic strings and serene percussion.
