For this latest release on Stay True Sounds, he works with fellow South African producer Divine Keys, a burgeoning talent who has previously worked with Thakzin on tracks like ‘Unexpected Feels’ and ‘Changing Times’. Their latest collaboration, ‘Stick Around’ explores the darker side of the two artists' repertoires, foregoing Thakzin’s usual 3 Step feel to create a record built on brooding pulsations and four on the floor punches - with Divine Keys’ jazz influences felt across intermittent piano lines.
