Detroit producer Aaron-Carl Ragland has died of cancer.
Ragland, known simply as Aaron-Carl by his releases, had revealed to fans that he was undergoing treatment for cancer of the lymph nodes in recent weeks, with regular updates on his progress on his Facebook and Twitter pages.
But tragically he succumbed to his illness late last week, with tributes now flooding onto Facebook page 'R.I.P. Aaron-Carl – The Legacy Lives On'.
In around 20 years making dance music, Ragland released tracks on labels including Josh Wink's Ovum and Soul City, a spin-off imprint of Underground Resistance.
He also ran his own label, Wallshaker Music
