Sebastian Devaud, AKA techno-meister Agoria, is finally on the verge of releasing his long awaited Fabric 57 mix. It follows on from previous, hugely successful compilation outings like Cute & Cult At The Controls and last year’s immense Balance 016.
Agoria’s most recent output, epitomised by current album Impermanence, offers melody and a fluidity not found on some of his earlier stripped back albums and EPs. His Fabric selection is a complex blend of house, techno and downbeat eclecticism, incorporating Jerome Sydenham & ‘Joe’ Claussell, Carl Craig, Lil Tony, afro-drummer Tony Allen and Ella Fitzgerald. Several tracks are mixed simultaneously.
The 20-track Fabric 57 compilation is released April 18.
