Norwegian disco don Todd Terje will finally release his debut album this April.

The appropriately titled It’s Album Time gathers a number of Terje’s recent singles including Inspector Norse, Strandbar and Swing Star (Part I and II) alongside eight new productions.  Listeners can expect plenty of trademark cosmic quirk for club and home, and, according to the press release (drafted by Running Back boss Gerd Janson), Terje’s ‘brazen lust for melody’.  A cover of Robert Palmer’s Johnny And Mary, featuring Bryan Ferry on vocals, is a notable highlight.

Terje has a number of live dates lined up over the coming weeks in semi-support of It’s Album Time, including stops in Barcelona, Berlin, Paris and Miland.  The album launches at London’s Oval Space on March 8; it is officially released on Terje’s Olsen Records imprint April 7.
