German electronica pioneer Apparat (real name Sascha Ring) will tour the UK next month in support of brand new album The Devil’s Walk.

Berlin-based Apparat started making music in the late Nineties, his flowing techno productions evolving over time to incorporate all manner of eclectic electronic influences, ranging from dubstep to indie-disco. His last self-titled album, released in 2009, was recorded alongside Modeselektor as Moderat, mixing techno, grime-pop and mellow ambient. New record The Devil’s Walk, a similarly kaleidoscopic shake-up of sounds, is already garnering rave reviews.

The Apparat tour kicks off October 14 in Bristol, before hitting Brighton (October 16), Leeds (October 17), Manchester (October 18), Glasgow (October 19) and finally London (KOKO, October 20). Apparat plays ‘live’ with his mellow four-piece band; support comes Danish crew When Saints Go Machine.
