For the second instalment of Nikki Beach In The House, they’ve teamed up with ATFC to provide a two-disc mix of the finest and freshest upfront house music.
Once described by The Observer Magazine as ‘the sexiest place on earth’, Nikki Beach encompasses a collection of destinations designed around a chic and glamorous beach lifestyle, global brand with which you can experience the Nikki Beach lifestyle in eight exotic places from Marrakech to Koh Samui and Mexico to Miami, all of which exude the same salubrious style.
As well as its idyllic locations, the brand is also famous for its soundtrack. By day it has a blissful vibe, at night the Nikki Beach venues switch and become places where you can party into the early hours. There is a constant influx of well known global DJs that entertain the crowd and propel the brand.
ATFC is DJ that has regularly played at the Nikki Beach events around the world. He travels the globe relentlessly dropping into the most famous clubs in each country and has been making records for the last 20 years consistently delivering amazing tracks and pushing his diverse sound forward.
He has even delivered a new version of his new track ‘When The Needle Drops (Nikki Beach Anthem)’ and an exclusive edit of his forthcoming single Geetah for the compilation.
“When The Needle Drops, my anthem created especially for this collaboration with Nikki Beach is, like the beach clubs; soaked in sunshine, tide and a carefree attitude in equal measure” says ATFC of the track. “When I mixed this album all I could hear was splashes, the foam of the sea popping on the sand, the clinking of glasses and excited chatter, and I hope you can hear the same - even if you're listening to this driving your car through traffic on a cold winter’s night”
CD2 continues the poolside party with Nikki Beach’s musical director and resident at many of the venues Roman Rosati. Here he steps up to mix taking in some of the biggest tracks of 2011 including Blaze, The Good Men, Roy Davis Jnr plus the brand new anthem from Arthur Baker, I Believe in Love.
With Nikki Beaches’ solid reputation for quality dance music you can be assured that this will be a soundtrack for anyone hunting for that elusive winter sun.
