Azari & III’s Alixander III (real name Alphonse Lanza) is set to release his first solo album next month.
The Incline Of Western Civilization Pt III is a vastly different kettle of fish to Alixander III’s pop-edged house work with the Azari crew. Alixander decided to record ‘solo’ after three years’ on the road with the band, concocting a volatile brew of hectic techno and saw-edged electro. A single, marathon 22-minute album track The Jugular, will be released around the same time.
The Incline Of Western Civilization Pt III is released on Lanza’s new label Idol Hanse on November 23; The Jugular’s release date is still TBC.
