Flight Facilities feat. Grovesnor – With You
I’m a huge fan of the Flight Facilities guys. Every release is of the highest quality, I just can’t wait for an album from them. This record features Grovesnor from Hot Chip on vocals and be sure to check out the video for it as well; some seriously incredible animation on show.
Tom Trago – Use Me Again (Carl Craig Remix)
This is shaping up to be one of the tunes of the summer in my opinion. I’ve heard it out everywhere and its being played by a really diverse range of people. Tom Trago really knows his stuff and broke out a classic sample, then Carl Craig just takes it to the dancefloor. Essential.
Doctor Dru – The Voice Of Dru
Exploited Records in Germany are on an incredible run of releases at the moment. They are releasing some of the best deeper house gems at the moment and this is a perfect example of that. Superbly produced and sounds incredible out.
Tigerskin & Till Von Sein – Good Times On The Reg
I really am a total sucker for ‘disco house’ and this record is the perfect example of that genre. A killer loop, great vibe, not much more you need than that. Records like this just put a smile on my face.
Jonas Rathsman – Tobago
This record just screams summer to me. I think it’s going to creep up on people as well. That vocal is just going to get into your head and stay there.
Esteban Adame – I’ll Never Give Up
I don’t actually know a huge amount of background on this record. I believe it is or was vinyl only, but it has a real classic house vibe to it and I know it will sound incredible when the sun is shining.
Pirupa – Party Non Stop
Another massive record for the summer this. Originally on Loco Dice’s Desolat imprint and just signed to Defected this is dancefloor dynamite every single time. Look out for incredible remixes from Huxley, Riva Starr and more coming very soon.
James Silk – Clique
James Silk is a new producer whose output I’m really enjoying at the moment. This is a new track of his on Lo:Rise records that again just has that great deeper, summer vibe. Sonic sunrays all over!
Cocolores – Shox
Another record on the superb Exploited records I mentioned earlier. Completely instrumental this one, but I just love the vibe on this. It’s got a really great bounce to it.
Patrick Alavi – How Much That Means To Me (Miguel Campbell Re-edit)
This record reminds me of old Crydamoure/Daft Punk records. I’m loving that peoples tastes are coming back round to records like this again. It’s another superb sample spot from Patrick Alavi and an incredible edit from Miguel Campbell. I could literally listen to this record all day.
