Brixton dance massive Basement Jaxx – AKA Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton – has finally revealed details of its next studio album.

Junto, set for a 25 August release on the Jaxx’s own Atlantic Jaxx imprint, follows a sprinkling of singles over the past 12 months including Back 2 The Wild, What A Difference Your Love Makes and Mermaid Of Salinas.  The latter is included on Junto (‘together’ in Spanish), an album with which Ratcliffe and Buxton say they “wanted to do something that felt more at one with the world.”  The sentiment is mirrored in the titles of some of Junto’s tracks, such as Power To The People and Love Is At Your Side.

Pre-orders of the album come with an instant download of singles Mermaid Of Salinas and the duo’s latest dancefloor-primed single Unicorn.
