Ben UFO will play a new boutique festival on the Yorkshire Moors this August.

Fieldtrip, taking place on Addingham Moorside (north west of Leeds) on 15-17 August, promises seven core electronic music stages each with a different, distinctive theme.  1500 revellers can expect to hear everything from house and garage to indie via soul, techno, reggae and psy-trance.  Accompanying the music will be a wide variety of entertainment and hospitality, including international street food, cider and local ale stalls, ‘kamikaze’ karaoke, crafts, acrobats, secret cinema and local rap battles.

Other featured electronic names are Todd Terry, Boddika, Levon Vincent, Darius Syrossian, Dave Beer, Edu Imbernon, James Holroyd, James Priestley, Mo Kolours, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Arnaldo and Panoramabar faves Tama Sumo and Prosumer.  An official organisers’ statement reads:  “We want people to leave the festival with a new favourite band, or DJ.  Fieldtrip is a fun-filled, friendly affair that brings together the best creative and cultural offerings Leeds has to offer and does so with love, understanding and a welcoming smile on its face.  This is the one summer trip you don’t want to miss.”
