Berlin uber-club Berghain will launch a new club event ≠ (Not Equal) next month.

≠ (Not Equal) aims to build bold new bridges between clubland’s more conventional dance floor sounds and ‘avant-garde’ culture. As such, the opening party on November 11 presents two suitably dark and experiment techno labels Modern Love and Blackest Ever Black. Artists Andy Stott and Demdike Stare perform live, whilst Raime DJs.

Elsewhere, there is stage space for eclectic bass heads Emptyset and ≠’s subversive resident Opium Hum. Separately, in the Panorama Bar, Radio Slave plays, and Mathew Honson’s new project with brother Nathan, Midnight Operator.
