Fever Ray and Richie Hawtin have been confirmed for this year's Bestival. Techno mainstay Hawtin will be playing a special set under his infamous Plastikman guise, while also confirmed for this year are The xx.
They join the likes of Dizzee Rascal, LCD Soundsystem, Gil Scott Heron, Hot Chip, The Flaming Lips, Four Tet, Chase & Status, Chilly Gonzales, Simian Mobile Disco and Delphic.
Meanwhile, DJ sets will come from Annie Mac, David Rodigan, Dixon, Ewan Pearson, Greg Wilson, Joy Orbison, Horse Meat Disco and Seth Troxler.
Says festival boss Rob Da Bank "OK, check this out for a triple whammy - my joint favourite band of last year The xx playing what will be a very rare UK festival appearance on our very own Isle of Wight, the audio-visual phenomenon that is Fever Ray with her ONLY UK festival this year and to cap it all one of the most important electronic wizards about, Richie Hawtin bringing his Plastikman guise to the Big Top.
"Selfishly these are three of the most played artists round the da Banks’ at the moment and if you don't already own all the music get it now and get ready for September!"
Tickets are on sale right now at £150 for the weekend.
It all happens on September 9th to 12th at Robin Hill Park on the Isle of Wight.
