Dense & Pika - Cartoon Heart
Dense & Pika are the alter egos of a couple of renowned techno producers. Their tracks were originally released on vinyl as limited white labels but after a few months are now available digitally. Lord Vath is all over them like a tramp on chips and has been smashing Cartoon Heart at cocoon, a must for techno heads!
Julio Bashmore - Au Seve
The inaugural release on his Broadwalk Records imprint, Bashmore keeps churning out the gems! Au Seve has everybody getting down to the low end frequencies from Pacha to Space.
Blaze - Lovelee Dae (20:20 Vision Mix)
A classic which still sounds fresh today, hard to believe it’s nearly 13 years old! This classic vocal was dropped at the end of Simon Baker set at Paradise and sounded proper mint.
Audiojack – Stay Glued (FCL Mix)
The old skool house sound is in full effect here, popular with Dennis Ferrer and the Objektivity crew.
Ben Pearce - What I Might Do
This is from a young chap called Ben Pearce who I’m expecting big things from. What I Might Do has been on heavy rotation at Solomon’s Diynamic night and has also got Seth Troxler hot under the collar. Keep an eye out as it will be dropping on Under the Shade soon.
Lil -Louis - Club Lonely (J. Cub Edit)
Solomon kicked off his set with the J. Cub edit of Lil Louis classic Club Lonely when he played for Defected at Pacha and that wicked bassline groove and infectious vocal was the perfect party starter!!
MAM - Crushed Ice
One of FINA’s biggest releases to date. MAM's Crushed Ice is still a firm favourite with Andy Baxter and can be heard in many of the bars around the port as well as being hammered at Future Disco.
Tim Deluxe - Transformation (DJ Hell Mix)
I've this records in previous blogs but this is still being smashed by every man and his dog across the island so definitely deserves another shout out.
Tuccillo - House 19
Tuccillo is one of Pacha best kept secrets; a wicked DJ and producer who can be found warming up in the main room or smashing the funky room. House 19 is a firm favourite with the man himself and fellow resident Willie Graff.
Waifs & Strays - Lost (In The Party)
Seeing more and more of these guys this year and this Dirtybird track is going down a storm with the Hot Creations crew!
