Bob Sinclar’s new studio album Disco Crash will be released this April, featuring a myriad of superstar guests.

The swinging Frenchman has a proven track record for funky, hybrid dance-pop productions – previous crossover hits including Love Generation and World, Hold On – and his new album offers a similar, rambunctious vibe.

“I approached Disco Crash as an album of singles, with a 200% return to clubbing. The album is about the disco sound, but all mashed up with hip-hop,” Sinclar says. “I still want to surprise people. Always.” Aside from hip-hop influences, he also includes elements of ragga, garage and pop.

In terms of guests, album track Wild Thing is a cover of Tone Loc’s seminal late Eighties jam featuring Snoop Dogg; elsewhere, Sinclar picks up with Sophie Ellis Bextor, Pitbull, Sean Paul, Fatman Scoop and Planet E rapper KC Flightt.

“Over the past two years, American artists have been greatly influenced by European dance DJs and wanted to feature their sound” Sinclar adds. “Here so many opportunities presented themselves and there were some I simply could not refuse!”

A specific release date is not yet confirmed.
