Boys Noize, AKA German house and tech demon Alex Ridha, has mixed the latest edition of Fabriclive – number 72 – due out next month.

Ridha’s offering is, he explains, a typical two to three hour set condensed into 70 minutes.  “My sets usually include many styles and at some points I mix pretty fast too,” he explains.  “I play some jackin’ house and techno with crazy energy stuff and then go back to reduced dub or even classic electro or breaks.  My goal was to combine all of the styles I play but also make it listenable.”

Boys Noize’s rise over the past few years has been nothing short of astronomical.  An eponymous label continues to drop his major EPs and singles – including Go Hard and Inhale/Exhale this year.  The bookings at major clubs and festivals around the world also continue to pour in.  In terms of collaborations, Boys Noize has already hooked up with Snoop Dogg and Skrillex, and was working with Romanthony at the time of his death earlier this year.

His Fabriclive 72 mix includes cuts from Four Tet, Mr Oizo (featuring Marilyn Manson), Dave Clarke, Anthony Naples, Apparat, The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands and Paul Woolford’s rave-y Special Request alias, not to mention his own productions Starwin, Anoid and XTC.

A launch party at Fabric, November 15, precedes the album’s release November 18.
