Organisers of the BPM Festival in Mexico, one of international clubland’s biggest festival fixtures, have just confirmed dates for next year’s event.
The sixth annual instalment of BPM, situated in Playa del Carmen – just south of Cancun along Mexico’s popular Riviera Maya – will take place January 4-13, with over 35,000 revellers and 200 electronic dance artists expected. Day and night schedules, as well as a number of fringe parties will be confirmed in due course.
Previous BPM performers have included Danny Tenaglia, Art Department, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin and Soul Clap. Last year’s fifth anniversary event featured both the Crosstown Rebels and Hot Creations crews, as well as Tenaglia, Luca Bacchetti, Heidi, Danny Howells and Steve Lawler. 100 of 2012’s performers are already, apparently, booked to return early next year. Full line-up details should be revealed this November.
