Europe's largest DJ trade show, BPM, is moving to Birmingham's NEC on the first weekend in October:  Saturday, 3, and Sunday, 4.  First launched in 2007, the show has enjoyed two hugely successful years at Donington Park Exhibition Centre.  The move to Brum will ensure it is bigger than ever.

Visitors, in their thousands, can expect demonstrations from all the major equipment manufacturers and distributors, including Allen & Heath, Citronic, Numark, Sennheiser and Pioneer.  There will also be all the usual networking forums for labels, businesses and promoters, not to mention top-draw DJ performances.  Tom Middleton, Slipmatt, Semtex and Swindon’s hip-hopping, show-stopping, fast rising collective Beatbullyz are among previous guests.

This year’s BPM also promises a comprehensive round-up of seminars, workshops and presentations on everything from studio production to turntablism to marketing and PR.  More details are to be announced soon, check www.visitbpm.co.uk for updates.
