Celebrated New York club Cielo celebrates its 10th anniversary this month with 10 major parties featuring the likes of Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap and The Martinez Brothers.
The first event, this week, on January 10, welcomes DJ sets from Cadenza stalwarts Maavan Nidam and Cesar Merveille; the latter’s regular production partner Ryan Crosson then headlines January 12 with local boy MANIK, before fellow New Yorkers The Martinez Brothers play January 17. Wolf + Lamb go track-to-track with Soul Clap January 18; Circo Loco’s Tania Vulcano appears January 19; Horse Meat Disco on January 20; and Brooklyn house legend Victor Calderone, January 24. That leaves soulful veteran Tedd Patterson, January 25; Cielo founder Nicolas Matar (a former long-term Pacha Ibiza resident) January 26; and, finally, Todd Terje and Danny Krivit, January 31.
Cielo is currently home to Francois K’s legendary Deep Space night (Mondays) and Louie Vega’s Roots party with former Blaze man Kevin Hedge (Wednesdays); its intimate space and unparalleled sound have made it one of New York’s coolest underground house clubs over the past decade.
