Sven Vath's Cocoon club in Frankfurt has gone into administration.
It's hoped that a solution can be found to keep the the state-of-the-art venue open, and that it will not involve any unnecessary job losses. The venue opened in 2004, but the German press had speculated that the club would close following the closure of the two restaurants attached to it, Silk and Micro.
CocoonClub GmbH & Co, the company that runs the club, is run separately to Vath's events company, label and DJ agency, which are all unaffected by the insolvency.
