Techno legend Carl Cox will commandeer London’s Fabric for a one-off Thursday night party next month.
Pure Intec, taking place October 3, sees Cox and Jon Rundell showcasing the adrenaline-pumped sound of imprint Intec, the label they have co-directed since its inception back in 1999. Intec did wind down in 2006 but re-launched four years later as a digital-only operation – Intec Digital – featuring Cox and Rundell’s own music as well as material from Pirupa, Marco Bailey & Filterheadz, Guti and Nicole Moudaber.
Cox and Rundell have maintained global interest in the label by hosting Pure Intec parties everywhere from Ibiza to Tokyo. Fabric doesn’t usually open its doors on a Thursday, but there have been special Thursday evening sessions previously for German minimalists Monolake and Brazilian-funk progressives Azymuth.
