Major fixture on Berlin’s club scene, Daniel Steinberg, is set to release his debut artist album, Shut Up, early next year.

The release, planned for January 24, 2011, follows a series of well received singles and EPs dating back as far as 2005. Listeners can expect more of Steinberg’s trademark minimalism – tough but quirky four-to-the-floor rooted in tech, deep house and bouncy dub.

The DJ-cum-producer (who sometimes uses alter-ego Cobra Limbos) has previously released on labels such as Microfon, Grandpetrol and Jesse Rose’s Front Room Recordings – the latter will package eight-tracker Shut Up.
