Nicolas Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington’s experimental project DARKSIDE will headline this year’s Berlin Festival, 5-7 September.
The festival, situated at Berlin’s abandoned Tempelhof Aiport, welcomes around 20,000 people each year to see a diverse line-up of electronic and acoustic talent. As well as DARKSIDE this September, festival-goers can expect to see Mount Kimbie, Moderat, Chase & Status, Crystal Fighters, Foreign Beggars, Alle Farben and BPitch Control’s Ellen Allien; not to mention alt-rock merchants Editors and post-punkers Warpaint.
The festival runs alongside Berlin Music Week, 3-7 September. Further names will be added over the coming months. Check www.berlinfestival.de/en/ for updates.
