Seriously rated German young-blood David August (real name David Nattkemper) is set to make his artist album debut with Times this spring.
August has generated a considerable amount of critical heat within clubland since starting out around three years ago thanks to EP releases on Stil Vor Talent and Solomun’s Diynamic Music stable; the latter releasing Instant Harmony in 2010 and Peace Of Conscience and You Got To Love Me in 2011. His sound has evolved considerably, synonymous today with deep, slowed-up, melodic house; fans can expect a similar vibe on the new record.
August, originally from Hamburg and currently a student at Berlin’s reputable University Of Arts (taking a music and technical study course), will release Times via Diynamic on April 8. Launch party details to follow....
