Marcel Dettmann, renowned techno producer and resident spinner at Berlin’s illustrious Berghain nightclub, is ready to release his debut album this Easter.

Dettmann, set for a release on Berghain’s own label Ostgut Ton, promises a powerful mix of deep and minimal styles, but one not purely aimed at the dancefloor: “I like music with a depth that I can feel. There is no formula for that.”

The German is the latest in a long line of Ostgut regulars to release a studio album, following the likes of Luke Slater, Ben Klock and Shed.  His long-play debut, released April 26, is preceded by a Dettmann Remixed 12-inch featuring re-rubs from Norman Nodge and Wincent Kunth.
