Rapidly emerging New Jersey house talent Joey Anderson is due to release his first studio album this April.
After Ever is according to its creator the “same Joey” but will also, he explains, include the “small other things I play around with or develop as I continue to work in my studio.” As such, listeners can expect a body of work attempting to connect with them on a deeper-than-deep level. “I find it very difficult to create something for people just to like” Anderson suggests. “I’d rather pay attention to making them get close to the album and uncover the ideas within it.”
Tracklisting:
1). Space Between Curtains
2). It's A Choice
3). Space Colors Ideas
4). Maidens Response
5). Sorcery
6). Amp Me Up
7). Keep The Design
8). Brass Chest Plate
9). Archer's Ceremony
10). Sky's Blessings
11). Heaven's Archer
After Forever is due out as CD, double-vinyl and download, featuring two cuts from Anderson’s Fall Off Face EP released last year (Sky’s Blessings, Heaven’s Archer) and nine new productions. It follows smooth house releases for labels such as Latency, UntilMyHeartStops, Deconstruct Music and his own Inimeg imprint (releases here alongside the likes of Jus-Ed and DJ Qu; artists whom Anderson has also remixed), as well as Levon Vincent’s use of his track Earth Calls for the prominent opening slot of his 2012 fabric 63 mix album.
After Forever is released by Dekmantel on April 17.
