Defected joins forces with AIR Amsterdam this October to bring you an ADE party second to none.

This year’s Defected In The House ADE party boasts arguably the strongest line-up of the week’s extensive party calendar, so we needed to find a venue that capable of doing it justice. Step forward AIR, one of the city’s newest and most innovative venues.

Opening only last year, the focus of AIR is entirely dedicated to providing the best clubbing experience in the city, through a combination of diverse programming, forward-thinking design and flawless attention to detail.

AIR’s interior was conceptualized by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, whose multidisciplinary design was intended to create an intimate and adaptable setting for the wide variety of programmes scheduled at the club. The projects of Marcel Wanders are regularly featured in FRAME – one of the most prestigious design magazines in the world – and his wealth of both experience and creativity has ensured that AIR is as unique as it is versatile.


As you would expect, AIR has exceptional audio-visual facilities, including a state of the art Void Acoustics sound system which last year won the infamous and prestigious Gouden Kabouter Award for Best International Sound System. Artists of the quality that will be performing on the night deserve the very best sound, and AIR have the facilities to provide it.
