With the Ibiza season in full swing and the finale of the Defected15 Club Tour taking place at Ministry Of Sound next month, it’s been a busy summer already for Defected In The House events. Landmark gigs in Barcelona, Berlin, LA and Tokyo alongside arenas at We Are FSTVL, Extrema and the first edition of Lakedance have brought the Defected sound to fans all over the world; however the summer party schedule is far from finished.
Over the coming weeks, Defected In The House touches down at a further four pre-eminent festivals, further establishing Defected as the world’s leader in quality house music.

GlobalGathering

The 2014 edition of GlobalGathering sees Defected In The House host a huge arena on Friday 25 July as part of the Defected15 Club Tour, along with a world-class collection of talent. MK, Cajmere, Guti (Live), Noir, Oliver $, Shadow Child, Sam Divine, Simon Dunmore and GotSome are all confirmed to play: an extraordinary line-up for what will surely prove to be one of the summer's highlights.
Zurich Street Parade

The Street Parade, held annually in Zurich, is Europe’s biggest ‘techno-parade’. The mid-August carnival began in 1992, just three years after the inception of its Berlin equivalent. By 2000, the Street Parade had swollen to 750,000 supporters and last year, the figure stood at a staggering 1,000,000.
Defected will host a unique party during this year’s Parade, 2 August. The stylish Defected In The House blowout will run 11pm to 6am with Noir and Sam Divine, as well as local spinners Muri, George Lamell, Herr Vogel, Jonas, Dario D’Attis and Tony Smash FX. Earlier in the afternoon, Defected plays slick city bar-restaurant Quai 61, which, at the edge of Lake Zurich, marks the end of the lakeside Parade route. The 2-11pm gathering features Noir, Divine, Muri, Lamell, Vogel, Smash FX and Sons Of Aoide. Expect packed streets thronging with house fanatics, making for a completely unique party atmosphere.
Lakedance

Lakedance is one of Europe’s premier electronic music festivals. Boasting extremely high production values and some of Europe’s finest DJs and artists, it takes place in a stunning location next to Lake Aquabest near Eindhoven. Their motto for 2014 is ‘Better, not bigger’ with the focus very much on enhancing the experience of festival-goers rather than packing more people into what has come to be regarded as one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
Having already hosted a packed-out arena at the June edition of Lakedance, Defected in The House returns this August, with Franky Rizard, Flashmob, Sam Divine, Simon Dunmore, Sonny Fodera and MC Pryme in attendance, making this one of the summer’s hottest festival tickets.
Sundown

The fourth annual Norfolk Spectacular, now called the Sundown Festival, takes place over three days this year from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 August at the Norfolk Showground, in Costessey.
Headlining the Defected stage are house renaissance superstar MK alongside UK trailblazers Breach and Secondcity – all of whom have been involved in UK top 10 records last year with ‘Look Right Through’, ‘Jack’ and ‘I Wanna Feel’ respectively. Joining them at the Defected In The House arena are Shadow Child and Cristoph alongside Defected favourites Sam Divine and Copyright. Elsewhere you can catch the likes of Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Chase & Status, Andy C, Clean Bandit and Zane Low, although for house heads there really is only one place to be.
