Defected is proud to announce that we are bringing a Defected In The House stage to the 2014 edition of one of the world’s most prestigious dance music festivals, Global Gathering.
Now in its 14th year, Global Gathering is renowned the world over for the quality and breadth of programming, andthis year’s event is proving to be no exception. Taking place Friday 25 and Saturday 26 July, the festival welcomes a staggering array of world-class electronic music talent to the line-up at its legendary home of Long Marston Airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon.
On Friday 25, Defected In The House will be at Global Gathering for the first time, hosting a stage that boasts an eclectic array of DJs and live acts, with MK, Cajmere, Guti (Live), Noir, GotSome, Sam Divine and Simon Dunmore all confirmed to play.
Global Gathering is committed to championing the best in British talent and labels, so in addition to the Defected In The House stage, further arenas will be hosted by UKF Live and Circus, with The Prodigy, Sub-Focus, Gorgon City, Annie Mac and many more all confirmed over the two day event.
Held on the last weekend of July each year, Global Gathering has established itself as a major event on the UK festival calendar since it began in 2001. From there Global Gathering has launched successful international events in Poland, Russia and South Korea, while the UK festival has grown to play host to over one hundred acts on over a dozen stages, and has twice won the award for Best UK Festival in the DJ Magazine awards.
