After a truly spectacular, roadblocked event in February, Defected In The House returns to its London residency at Ministry of Sound with yet another assembly of world-class DJ talent.

With pre-sale tickets gone long before the event and queues on the night stretching around the block, it was clear before the doors even opened that Defected’s February party at Ministry of Sound was shaping up to be something special. More than 1000 people were turned away as the club was packed to the rafters; happily if you were one of the unlucky ones who couldn’t get in, you won’t have to wait long for another chance to party with Defected.

On Saturday 13th April, Defected In The House hits London’s Ministry of Sound for the second time this year, bringing with them some of the hottest house DJs in the world.

Dennis Ferrer was last seen performing for Defected at their sold-out NYE show. As ever, his set was unpredictable, charismatic and highly energetic, with Dennis laying waste to the dancefloor with upfront, bass-heavy house. You can expect another faultless performance at Ministry of Sound from a DJ whose reputation as one of the world’s finest further cements itself with every appearance.

Noir has simply erupted into 2013. His Noir In The House compilation was named Album of the Month and labelled “essential” by Mixmag, while his appearance for their Lab live stream alongside FCL was one of the most spectacular sessions of the series. Packed full of his own edits, bootlegs and remixes as well as faultless selections of full-blooded house music, Noir sets are always special and the Danish artist looks to have a game-changing year ahead of him.

Opening the Box are Copyright, whose Copyright Recordings imprint continues to impress with S.Chu’s Oh My being made Record of the Week on Radio 1Xtra, while their own recent Lifted EP continued their impressive vein of studio form.

Heading up the 103 is Lovebirds. Formerly one-half of Knee Deep, Lovebirds was responsible for arguably the biggest vocal record of 2011, Want You In My Soul feat. Stee Downes. His debut artist album is due out on Defected Records later this year, so if you haven’t yet caught him live, this is the ideal opportunity to do so.

NICe7 are yet another Italian duo causing major waves on the world circuit. Their five-track Back to Basics EP on Noir Music last year set pulses racing and with remixes of two of the key tracks – Bassline Soldiers and Time to Get Physical – due out on Defected in the next few months, the stage is perfectly set for their debut appearance at Ministry of Sound.

Also performing is Berlin’s Santé. Another producer whose records have been steadily elevating him to forefront of the house scene, Santé is probably best-know to fans of Defected through his stunning Homegirl; expect deep, rolling grooves and evocative vocals of a similar ilk from his set on the night.

Completing the line-up in the 103 is one of Ferrer’s protégées André Hommen. Part of the administrative and creative team behind Dennis Ferrer’s New York City based Objektivity imprint, Hommen is now an established DJ and producer in his own right.

With Defected Records currently enjoying a purple patch of exceptional releases and sell-out events, we can pretty much guarantee tickets for this will fly off the shelves. Get yours in quick to make sure you don’t miss out on the fun….
