On Saturday 2nd July Defected In The House rolls into London’s Ministry of Sound for a summer party dedicated to true house music with a little sprinkling of Ibiza style.
If it’s good house music, our DJs will play it loud, and we’d like to think that it’s this consistency that has set us apart from the rest over the last decade. And both duos touching down in London for one night only are fresh from the Defected In The House Pacha Ibiza residency, so expect more than a little touch of the Balearics to be incorporated in the night.
Junior Jack and Kid Crème are core Defected artists with a track record of raising roofs the world over, who alongside MC Shurakano continue to traverse the globe playing at the world’s best venues including five nights with Defected at Pacha Ibiza this summer. Their sets are always among the tightest and most dancefloor-focussed in the game, and with the added energy of Shurakano injected into every beat, a set from the trio is one not to miss.
Sam and Gavin Copyright need no introduction to any true Defected fan. Having just released their steaming hot video for ‘I’m All Yours’, their recent collaboration with Nuwella Love, Copyright are in a rich vein of form in the studio and according to Sam Holt, they’re really up for this one, “We cannot wait for this party, it’s a home gig as Defected returns to the home of House music in London! We love playing at MoS as it’s always great to party with the whole Defected crew in London. Expect the finest upfront house music bullets and classics for those that know!”
In the newly refurbished, revamped and renamed arena, 103 (formerly the Bar), you will find Defected’s newest signing Ridney. With some powerful supporters of his sound that include Pete Tong and Swedish mafioso Axwell, Ridney makes his debut for Defected with a solid backing of tastemakers.
Further support comes from Defected In The House Sam Divine and Andy Daniell, who will be showcasing the best of Defected’s summer sound.
This party will reflect the diversity of the labels, artists and producers Defected is involved with so if you're into true sound of house music on a Saturday night in July, this is most definitely the only place to be.
