After an outstanding show back in June, Defected In The House are making a second appearance at Holland’s Lakedance for another showcase of finest quality house music at the Netherlands acclaimed festival on Saturday 10th August.
Just two months after the first of the two-part festival we have assembled another exciting all-star cast as Defected have again been granted their very own stage. This time around the stage plays host to Chocolate Puma, Copyright, Flashmob, Franky Rizardo, Supernova, Sam Divine, and Shovell on Percussion.
Presented by First Vision, the festival has been running since 2005 but has only been occurring twice a year since 2007. “We couldn’t get enough of it!” explains founder Bart De Ridder. “It's like the opening and closing of the summer season, and that’s the vibe that needs to hang around during the festival. For a couple of weekends every year, Aquabest transforms in to Ibiza Holland.” The second part of this year’s Lakedance festival is scheduled for August 10th and has dedicated stages for 303Lovers, Jager Music, Mensroom and of course Defected In The House.
Situated next to Lake Aquabest near Endhoven, the location is equipped with stunning views across the water and natural surroundings, perfect in conjunction with the summer sunshine and clear blue skies. As the sun falls and the moon rises the event turns into a fusion of light shows, flames, effects and firework displays which all in all come together to create an aesthetical feast for the eyes.
