This May, Defected launch both a brand new online DStore and a three week pop-up store and exhibition space in London’s Truman Brewery.
Both the online store and pop-up will open 01 May to mark the official start to the Defected 15 anniversary celebrations.
Located at Unit 7, Dray Walk in East London’s Old Truman Brewery, the pop-up, ‘Defected Records’, will allow visitors exclusive access to its catalogue of music, past and present. Stocks of original releases will be available, along with Defected’s brand new ranges of merchandise and apparel, including limited edition Defected 15 t-shirts and vests along with the new spring/summer collection.
New t-shirt designs include Deep Down & Defected, For The Love Of House and We Are Defected, as well as new lines from DFTD and the Classic Music Company.
As well as the merchandise as clothing available for purchase, the pop-up will give fans and newcomers to the label alike the chance to experience Defected’s history first-hand. Rare memorabilia will visually chart the label’s evolution through the last 15 years, while some of the best DJs, producers and artists from the Defected family and beyond will be invited to host a series of events, talks and workshops. Details of all the events will be released soon, so keep your eyes peeled for updates over the coming weeks.
The online DStore will also open for business 01 May. Selling CDs, vinyl and digital music in both MP3 and high-quality AIFF formats, the store will also exclusively stock all available merchandise and apparel lines.
