Always aiming to be at the very forefront of the musical soundtrack of the White Isle, each year we put together a compendium of records we anticipate you’ll be hearing at Opening Parties across the island.

Defected Records presents The Opening Party Ibiza 2013 is the latest edition in the series; a collection of 30 individual tracks, selected and chosen as the records to look out for over the summer.

The compilation includes some of the biggest current records from the Defected camp such as Rachel Row ‘Follow The Step’ (KiNK Beat Mix), FCL ‘It’s You (David Morales Mix)’ and Noir Music’s recent underground hit with Jon Cutler ‘It’s Yours (Nice7 Remix)’.

Far from comprising records solely from the Defected and associated labels’ catalogue, the compilation also includes tracks from cutting edge producers from the broader reaches of house music, tracks like Breach ‘Jack’, Bicep ‘Stash’, Deetron ‘Out Of My Head’ and Midland ‘Trace’.
