We're teaming up with Beatport to deliver an epic five-continent, 24-hour marathon party to ring in the New Year.
Powering New Year celebrations virtually across the globe, we'll host livestreams from London, Sydney, Thailand, Johannesburg and Las Vegas from 11:30 am GMT on Sunday December 31 2023, brought to life by Beatport’s new community-led initiative Music is Unstoppable (Unstoppable).
Soundtracking the spectacle will be a host of house heavyweights including the mighty Armand Van Helden and Carl Cox, plus Defected favourites Sam Divine, Ferreck Dawn, Arielle Free, Harry Romero, Afro-electronic star Kitty Amor and many more. The unique New Year’s showcase will celebrate Defected’s 25 year and Beatport’s 20 year anniversary, honouring more than two decades at the epicentre of dance and music culture.
In celebration of the stream and partnership, an exclusive and limited collaboration collection of merch will also be sold via stream sponsor and e-commerce shopping platform app, Lemonade Fashion.
Every 'Unstoppable' minute across the five continents will be broadcast live on our 24/7 Youtube channel, as well as Beatport’s FB, Twitch and website.
