Deep, tracky house pioneer Dixon will front the second MUTEK.ES festival next year, a cool Spanish subsidiary of the main MUTEK get-together in Montreal, Canada, which focuses on visual electronic music performances.
MUTEK.ES, running Feb 9-11 in various Barcelona nightspots, is also set to welcome appearances from Isolee and Frivolous, as well as Actress and rising London dubstepper Ikonika. This time round MUTEK promises concerts alongside a wide range of seminars, workshops and talent panels to discuss everything from visual and audio creativity to clubland economics.
