Punk drummer turned celebrated leftfield disco spinner DJ Harvey – real name Harvey Bassett - will release a new artist album this summer as alias Wildest Dreams.
Little is known about the project at this stage, but it is believed to have been recorded in a short space of time two years ago and inspired by Los Angeles – the city to which he relocated a while back. Listeners can expect a suitably eclectic, psychedelic mix of guitars, drums, electronica and, here, Harvey’s own vocals. The new album, as yet untitled, follows on from acclaimed 2011 opus Locussolus (as Locussolus).
