The voting is open for DJMags's Best of British Awards, 2011 DJmag's celebration of the finest producers, DJs, labels, clubs and more from across the British dance scene.
This year's awards ceremony take place on Wednesday 14th of December at East Village where the results of the public vote will be revealed.
Last year Paul Woolford walked away with the accolade of Best DJ but this year there's a host of hungry young new talent snapping at his heels, including Hessle Audio's Ben UFO, the multi-talented Maya Jane Coles and Hot Natured's Jamie Jones.
Also in 2010, James Blake's walked away with Best Single for 'CMYK' on R&S, with both artist and label going from strength to strength since. This year the competition is just as fierce; take your pick from Eats Everything's bouncy ‘Entrance Song’, Mosca's garage revivalist ‘Bax’. Scuba's exploration in soul soaked house ‘Adrenalin’, Miguel Campbell's slinky ‘Something Special’ and Rustie's head rush of ‘Ultra Thizz’.
Here at Defected, we're proud to say we've been nominated in two categories - Best Remix for Maya Jane Coles' incredible reworking of 4th Measure Men's '4 You', as well as Best Label.
You can show your support by casting your vote in one or all of the 18 categories here.
Voting closes Monday 5th December.
