Known for driving some of the UK’s most crucial underground sounds, Donae’o unveils his first release on The Remedy Project, with an uplifting Amapiano-infused track titled 'I'm In A Good Mood’ featuring singer-songwriter Terri Walker.

Dipping into the influential South African sound, Donae’o’s latest offering sees him yet again deliver a club-ready track that stays close to his musical roots. With its unapologetic bass, the track’s upbeat swing teamed with Terri’s smooth vocals makes for an essential cut from one of the scene’s most respected producers.

Never failing to deliver, no matter the genre, 'I'm In A Good Mood’ embodies everything you would expect from a Donae’o track - a robust bassline matched with an unforgettable hook.

While making his debut on Melvo Baptiste’s The Remedy Project, Donae’o’s relationship with Defected dates back further, having featured on Copyright’s ‘My Desire’ and as a DJ supported some of the label’s iconic anthems such as Fish Go Deep’s ‘The Cure & The Cause’, Dennis Ferrer’s ‘Hey Hey’ and many of DJ Gregory classics. Terri Walker’s sultry vocals can also be heard on Defected’s 2014 track by S.Chu titled ‘Closure’.

Never one to shy away from a new sound and keen to present his take on Amapiano for UK audiences, 'I'm In A Good Mood’ not only demonstrates Donae’o’s continued evolution as an artist as he works with Defected to push musical boundaries.

Donae’o featuring Terri Walker ‘I'm In A Good Mood’ will be released via The Remedy Project on 11th March 2022. Pre-order here.
