As our debut Defected Malta approaches, excitement at HQ for our newest event is building. With our Ibiza and Croatia parties a highlight of the summer year-on-year, we can’t wait to welcome our community to a brand new region to close out what has already been an amazing 2022 season.
Check out eight reasons we think you should join us this October and be part of something special….
New clubbing destination
Much in the way Croatia was tipped as the ‘hottest new clubbing destination’, Malta’s vibrant scene has been expanding with a bigger musical and festival offering in the last few years. Drenched in sunshine for 300 days of the year, Malta’s unique late-license, outdoor venues in Europe makes dancing from sunset to sunrise a year-round option.
25˚C in October
While October in the UK may mark the beginning of shorter days and cooler climes, in Malta the heat is still in full swing. If extending your summer sounds like an appealing option then look no further than Defected Malta.
50+ incredible DJs
With a huge blend of talent from across the globe, we’ve got headliners like Kerri Chandler, Basement Jaxx, Carl Craig, Gorgon City and more joining us for the debut Defected Malta, alongside underground legends like Archie Hamilton, Dan Shake and Heidi, plus an array of rising stars and live acts. Expect three days of house and disco excellence.
5 amazing venues
Taking full advantage of Malta’s incredible clubs, we’ll be hosting day parties at Café Del Mar, which offers stunning views of Malta’s crystal blue waters. As night draws in, open air parties will see you through til sunrise. With the evening venues in close proximity to one another, it’s easy to explore the island and try out the different clubs on offer.
The crowd
Our parties are made by the people who come to them. Come and meet like minded people and maybe even friends for life.
Day-to-night parties
From the afternoon through til sunrise, the days at Defected Malta will be soundtracked by exceptional music from world-class talent.
3 day festival
Falling over the weekend from Friday - Sunday, Defected Malta can just as easily be a weekend trip, or if you’re looking for a holiday, why not extend your stay to explore the island.
Affordability
With flight prices skyrocketing in the current peak summer season, Defected Malta’s October date means travel is still more affordable, with the island remaining one of Europe’s cheapest destinations for food, drink and accommodation.
Last festival of summer
Extend your summer for one last dance in the sunshine, as Defected Malta closes out the season post Ibiza closings.
