Kevin Saunderson’s mighty Detroit label KMS will celebrate 25 years in the game with a special anniversary box set collection next month – the package, Elevate Your Mind, will follow Saunderson’s KMS tribute event in the Motor City on May 27 (reuniting techno’s revered Belleville Three – Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Derrick May – as well as presenting Eddie ‘Flashin’’ Fowlkes, Stacey Pullen and Kenny Larkin).
 
Elevate Your Mind constitutes four CDs and 54 tracks (also accessible via download), telling KMS’s long-running story via classic label tracks from Kreem, Reese, MK, Chez Damier (the seminal Can U Feel It), E-Dancer and, of course, Inner City. Remixes of KMS material by Luciano and Simian Mobile Disco featured on previous label compilation History Elevate (released a couple of years ago) are also included.
