Massive Attack will release a new EP next month.

Splitting The Atom EP will drop on October 5, and is a sneak preview of the material from their forthcoming (and long-awaited) new album, due out next year.

The title track features long-time collaborator Horace Andy joining Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall.

Meanwhile, TV On The Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe pitches up on Pray For Rain.

The remaining two tracks are remixes of tracks from the new album; one of Psyche (featuring Martina Topley-Bird) remixed by Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid, and the other of Bulletproof Love (penned by Elbow's Guy Garvey) re-rubbed by Christoff Berg.

The new album is set for a February release, and as well as the above, features collaboration with Damon Albarn of Blur.

They will headline Bestival on September 11, and then they tour the UK.
