On Saturday 17th August, we continue our Ibiza residency at Booom!, with Duke Dumont, Skream and Dimitri from Paris talking control of proceedings.
With arguably the most diverse musical line-up to date, the party should appeal to lovers of house music across the board, from the driving, eclectic grooves of Duke Dumont to the bass heavy thump of Skream and full-blown disco heaven of Dimitri from Paris.
Duke Dumont is best known for his hit record ‘Need U (100%)’ which hit the top of the UK singles chart back in April and demonstrates the continuing appeal of real house music. Skream's name may have become synonymous with dubstep, but recently the Croydon-born producer has been expanding his aural field to include house and garage-tinged beats and melodies, as evidenced by his recent live sets. Meanwhile, when it comes to disco Dimitri from Paris is a genuine authority; a gentleman DJ who loves an image yet eschews spectacle in favour of fastidiously executed musical selections drawing on four decades of glorious music.
Ahead of Saturday’s party, we’re bringing you a taster of what to expect from Duke Dumont, with an hour of his live set recorded at Hard Summer, Los Angles earlier this month.
Our party at Booom! was an incredible event (check out our report to see for yourself), with the club full to capacity within two hours of opening its doors, so get there early to avoid disappointment.
