Back in May we proudly announced the resurrection of the Faith fanzine, with Defected working in full solidarity with creators Terry Farley, Stuart Patterson and Dave Jarvis to relaunch the beloved cultural print magazine while digitising all editions past, present and future. The team behind the Faith fanzine have worked hard into making the first relaunched issue a reality even during a pandemic, gathering content the house nation will want to delve into.

The Autumn issue pays homage to the hugely influential Danny Tenaglia, who features as the cover star for this special issue for the first time. Inside the magazine, there is a full-length feature with Harry Romero and Danny Tenaglia in conversation. Additionally, Faith speaks to Broadway and Pose star Billy Porter on his experiences at NYC clubs of the 90’s, as well as Parisian ballroom icon Kiddy Smile. Interviews with legends like Dave Beer and Ron Trent feature alongside rising stars of the scene Dee Diggs and Black Girl / White Girl. Faith also look back at Ron Hardy and the Music Box, Giles Smith recounts time spent with Mike Huckaby and the magazine pays tribute to Andrew Weatherall with a review of the final ‘A Love From Outer Space’. The Zine will include charts, quizzes with everything house music, this is a publication made for the house nation, keeping the faith.

Of course Faith remains free of charge, with a small charge to cover delivery fees, you can pre order the upcoming issue here. Whilst you wait for this issue, dive into the digital archive of past issues here
