Pivotal Miami pool resort-cum-nightclub Shine @ Shelborne Beach has announced a swathe of parties for the Winter Music Conference in March (8-12,) as well as events for later in the month when the Ultra Music Festival takes place (March 25-27.)
There has been conjecture for many weeks now on how promoters and performers will tackle Miami this year, being that the Conference and Ultra have separated - these early listings suggest that folk are picking one week or the other.
As per usual Timmy Regisford’s super soulful Shelborne-based Shelter party kicks things off March 9 before Derrick Carter hosts Fabric London’s event (to launch his new mix comp) the following evening and then Dave Seaman headlines, March 11. Local Murk man Oscar G brings some chunky tribal action to the table on the same night (alongside Nervous Records) and Francois K and Danny Krivit hook up for some sassy Body & Soul action March 12.
Beyond the WMC, Victor Calderone will play alongside Mindshake’s Spanish tech-houser Paco Osuna on March 23, Luciano will go ‘back-to-back’ with Carl Craig at the Shelborne pool March 24 and, later that night, Josh Wink will throw his traditional Ovum bash – the music being anything but…
Following all that Dave Seaman returns to action for the annual Hope & Therapy party March 25 (alongside Nick Warren,) Pacha host its ritual pool shindig March 26 (guests to be announced,) and Danny Tenaglia plays the final Shelborne pool slot March 27 before, after dark, Sander Kleinenberg arrives….
